Following his own award winning TV chat show in Scotland, Paul moved to London and opened British TV’s Channel 4 as the first voice. He then worked as a presenter for BBC 1, BBC 2, ITV and Channel 4, hosting discussion programmes, travelogues and quiz programmes.
In radio, Paul has worked as a presenter for the BBC on local and networked programmes, as well as commercial stations LBC, Smooth, and Radio Clyde. He regularly compères business conferences, and has fronted events for The Pope and also for various heads of state, and he hosted the opening ceremony of The Special Olympics. 
Paul was voted Scottish Radio Personality Of The Year. He is also a recipient of the BBC Gillards award, A Broadcast Critics Award, a Webby award, and runner up in the Rose D’Or Montreaux.
Paul coaches executives in Media and Presentation Training, and he presents weekly shows for BBC Radio London and BBC Radio Berkshire.
